The Rising Gen Expert  |  Systems-Psychodynamic Consultant & Mediator

Jessica McGawley

Most families are good at preparing the wealth for their children. Few prepare their children for the wealth.

For nearly two decades, Jessica has worked with prominent families and their advisors to address the unique challenges of raising children in the context of wealth. She is the Founder of Dallington - the first practice dedicated exclusively to mentoring the Rising Generation.

The Psychology of Succession

Jessica founded Dallington in 2016 after many years working with families and family offices around the globe - first as Head of Next-Gen for a consultancy focused on wealth transition, then as a solo practitioner driven to answer a single question: “How do we prepare our children to find fulfilment in life, whilst equipping them with the skills to successfully navigate the wealth they will one day steward?”

She trained in Psychodynamic and Systemic Consulting at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and is also an accredited mediator. Her work applies systems-psychodynamic and systemic thinking to the specific challenges faced by the rising generation of families of wealth and family enterprises.

Jessica works with rising-generation members from UHNW families to step into adulthood with confidence, purpose, and healthier family dynamics.

She works alongside private client advisors, wealth managers, trustees, and family office teams to deepen conversations around family dynamics, communication, and rising-generation readiness - through consulting, co-facilitation, training, and bespoke advisory offsites.
