Jessica McGawley
Psychological Consultant. Founder. Parent.
For over 15 years, I’ve worked with high-achieving parents - and the advisors who support them - to raise grounded, kind, resilient children in a world where privilege can quietly work against that.
Parenting is rarely straightforward. And while success brings opportunities, it often adds layers of complexity that most people never see. That’s where I come in.
I help families and their teams navigate these layers, so that wealth becomes a force for growth and connection, rather than tension and isolation.

Parent Coaching
Raising children in the context of wealth brings unique challenges. Most high-achieving parents are excellent at preparing their wealth for their children - but fewer prepare the children for the wealth. Without that practical and emotional grounding, the gift you’ve worked so hard to create can become more of a burden than a blessing.
This coaching is for parents who want to raise grounded, motivated young people with a healthy relationship to wealth. Parenting in this world calls for a different kind of strategy - one that builds resilience, responsibility and purpose.
Together, we tackle the big questions: boundaries, expectation, entitlement, inheritance conversations, social pressures, and the values that shape a life. It’s not about limiting privilege - it’s about equipping your children to handle it with confidence and care.
Thought
Leadership
Over the years, I’ve found myself at the heart of some of the most important, and often unspoken, conversations about wealth and its psychological impact - especially on children, adolescents, and their parents.
I speak, write, and facilitate with one core aim: to open up space for honest dialogue around what it really means to grow up with wealth. Not just the surface-level assumptions, but the quieter, more complex realities that come with privilege; identity, motivation, self-worth, belonging.
My work supports both families and the advisors who walk alongside them. I’m a regular speaker, podcast guest, author, facilitator, and keynote for family offices, private trusts, and advisory firms, and I contribute frequently to conversations shaping the future of family wealth and wellbeing.
